Bananas are a wonderful fruit with many health benefits as well as being highly nutritious. They are rich in Potassium, Magnesium as well being a good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin C, Manganese and Vitamin B6. They are a healthy carbohydrate snack because of their low GI, no fat, no sodium and no cholesterol. Suitable for athletes and dieters, they should be enjoyed as part of a balanced and healthy diet.
So next time you get a bit pekish instead of grabbing something naughty, grab a delicious Banana instead !
Niki's Healthy Banana Ice Cream Recipe

Serves 4 Prep 5 mins
Ingredients
6 bananas, chopped and frozen
1/2 cup almond milk,
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 pitted fresh dates
sprinkle of ground cinnamon
Method
Blend frozen banana pieces with the milk, vanilla, dates and cinnamon. Now serve the ice cream or freeze till you are ready. This is a fantastic way to make beautiful creamy healthy ice cream in just minutes. Either have it on it’s own or add to your pancakes or waffles.
Tips
You can add your own touch to this recipe by using Honey, Peanut Butter, Walnuts, Soy Milk or even Protein Powder so let your imagination run wild and enjoy!
