Sheraton On The Park Weekend Away 09/10

Life was meant to be lived ! We always incorporate alone time into our daily lives where we just enjoy each others company. That could be just sitting at home in our theatre room watching a new release movie, but we don't just turn on the TV, insert the movie and press play. Oh no, we go the whole nine yards. We make it special by firstly turning on the answering machine so there are no interruptions, lighting some candles, getting some blankets and reclining into our recliners huddling together, turning the volume on the home theatre system way up, and then pressing play. We want to experience what we are about to watch in order to make it a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Sometimes we'll sit down to a meal and again we'll dim the lights, turn on some soft music, and catch up on our day over our evening meal however the scene has been set for one of relaxation. We make it special, extra special.

This time we decided to go into the city and stay at our favourite hotel, Sheraton On The Park, located at 161 Elizabeth Street Sydney AUSTRALIA. Instead of just making a reservation we made it special. We contacted our new friend, Mr Brad Mercer the Hotel Manager, and explained that we were after a special weekend away and allowed him to take care of the reservation for us, which he did very well.

This way, we are assured of very special care and our weekend away is as special as it can be. We are very loyal clients of the Sheraton and have been going there for over 20 years and each time it has been spectacular. We strongly recommend the Sheraton to everyone, it's decadent. While we were there we had a fantastic time enjoying each others company as well as the many attractions Sydney night life has to offer including Karaoke which is alot of fun, even if you can't sing ! You just turn the volume up and go for it. We also dined at the Spice Temple which is located at 10 Bligh Street Sydney and it was spectacular again to say the least. We didn't take video this however click on the attached video to see an older video we did some time ago when we had the pleasure and privilege of dining at Neil Perry's fantastic restaurant.
